We are often asked if our teas are organic. ….What is organic?

Organic foods are made according to certain production standards. Under organic production, the use of conventional non-organic pesticides, insecticides and herbicides is greatly restricted and saved as a last resort. For the vast majority of human history, agriculture can be described as organic. In Russia we don’t divide food into organic and non-organic because the majority of food is still grown organically without use of chemicals. The herbs used in our teas are not farmed but handpicked in wild and pure areas of Russia where they are exposed to natural environment absorbing the energy from the sun and nutrients from the soil.     So Yes, our teas  are organic.
